Our First General Manager

The Board set out at the in January 2023 to hire a part-time coordinator and get funds to begin to deliver on our vision to be a:

A stable and effective organisation, that has the respect of the community, and which works towards bringing Tagalaka people back to Country, through increased access to housing and employment and by creating opportunities to connect with culture

We are very proud to say that we have exceeded our goals, instead of a coordinator, we have hired our very first General Manager. Congratulations to Alfred Owens, our inaugural General Manager. Alfred has stepped down as the Board Chairman to take up the role as General Manager . The Board expresses our gratitude to Alfred Owens for his dedication and leadership.

The Tagalaka Aboriginal Corporation has entered a new chapter in our journey. Stay tuned as we begin to share our strategy, our progress and our achievements.

Tagalaka Proud!
